F.O.C.C. (Falcon Owners Club Cali)
Juan Guillermo Mendez contacted me to supply me with pictures of a group of guys, Also in Cali Columbia as above, who all own 1966 Falcons! He said they had gone on their first trip as a group, and took some pictures of the event. Although the F.O.C.C. doesn't officially exist, They hope to make it an official club some day. Along with Mr. Pardo above, they will already have FIVE '66 Falcons in their club! Not bad! Thanks for writing!

Ben says " The photo was taken in Charlotte, NC in 1986 - she was totaled about 6 months later with 40,000 miles on her. A friend of my dads' named her "white flight"

Your story prompted me to write and tell you about our "Baby" This '66 Falcon Futura Club coupe is my wife's baby. We got it the last week of June '02. She fell in love with it. Well, on the 4th of July we where getting ready for the parade and I had to run across town to my inlaws for something. One block from their house a lady ran a stop sign and I hit her '91 T-Bird in front of the front tire. Police reported it as her fault. Her insurance paid off and I picked up a worn out '66 Ranchero for parts. It was not to be that simple though. A little over a week later, my wife and nephew drove Baby to Seattle. They were on their way back to the car and about 2/3 of a block away when a drunk came out of a parking garage and hit Baby again. Same fender as the last wreck. We had to turn this one into our own insurance, Response, formally Firemans Fund, Because it was a hit and run. Well, our insurance totaled Baby. As you can see, She's not totaled. The core support wasn't even damaged. I should be painting her this next Winter. Then I will start on the '67 wagon I had given to me. You all have fun with your Falcons!
