Phil Aaron's 1967 Sports Coupe
Which now lives in Melbourne Australia. Below shows the car as imported on the left, and after a respray on the right.
Robert Higareda's Sports Coupe
Robert Says : The motor is a 302 bored .60 over. It has
Dart heads with the beefy valves
2.02/160. The car moves pretty good. I just recently did a T-5 conversion
and trust me when I tell ya it was not easy. The hardest part was finding
the right kit for the job. I got it to work though. Nothing like having
that power at your fingertips. Rear end
has an 8inch Detroit Locker 3:55 gears. I have not put it on the dyno but I
know I'm getting at least 360hp. I just got the car painted and I just got the
wheels. They are Boyd Coddington's, the front wheels are 17x8 and rears are
18x9. When I take it out of the garage people just love it!

Grant Woolnough ~ Sports Coupe in Tasmania
Grant writes: Justin! my Dad (Rodney Woolnough) goes to California every couple of years, he has always been into Falcons and has owned a fare few local ones in his time. He currently has a fully restored 69 Fairmont, a 70 model Ute and a 67 Fairlane. Now the 67 Sports Coupe. He found it for sale at a transmission shop and got it for a song. I actually think he said the title cost more than the car! it is a factory v8, with 3 speed manual, I have a feeling it even has drum brakes all round (I actually didn't look too closely when we picked it up) I think he said it is a Futura but I'm not sure, it has bucket seats if that makes a difference??? it has a special order number on it so he is going to chase that up. It has come a long way, there is only aprox 20 odd Sports Coupes in Australia, most of them people change the front and rear to match Australian Falcons as we didn't have the coupe in that shape here. so it is pretty unique, it is definitely the only one in Tasmania.
Sports Coupe
(I sold my the steering wheel out of my previous falcon, and this is the car it went in to)
