Marty Writes:   Justin: The back story is the cool part about this car.
17 years ago when I met my wife we drove an ugly green 1970 1/2 (or at least I thought it was ugly) It smoked like a chimney and I had ugly pea green paint. I sold the car for $600.00 just to be rid of it. Less than A year later I found myself wishing I had kept it. I actually missed the old ugly green monster. I told myself right then if I ever got A chance to buy another , I would. Well 17 years have past and I only found one in this area and it was a four door. I wanted A two door like my old one. Well about A month ago I received a call from A friend of my father in law saying he had found me one and if I wanted it to come to his junk yard. I drove immediately to his yard. He informed me he had one out back I could have for $600.00, and it did run but not well. I walked out the field where the car was supposed to be and it was like this HUGE rainbow appeared and angels sang. For before my eyes sat not only A 1970.5 Falcon....but MY 1970.5 Falcon and it was the most beautiful car I ever laid eyes on. It hadn't changed much. still had same tires on it and the same old ugly green paint. Difference is now I appreciate it A lot more because I know now How rare these birds are. Sending you some pics of my lovely beast. Not much to look at in most peoples eyes but I have devoted all my time and money into restoring this car. I will keep you updated. Want some of the younger crowds to read and understand just because something isn't the most popular doesn't mean it cant be really valuable.
