My Music Collection

Firstly,  Know that I am quite picky about my CD's. I keep them all alphabetized, and each artist chronologically ordered (usually), and the CD's are all stored vertically inside the jewel case. I also am a pack-rat, and have kept almost  every album, tape, and CD I have ever owned. I have only owned a few CD's ever that I don't own now. I still have nearly all of my vinyl records, other than those worn out in time. Same with my tapes. All still here other than those broken with age. Of course the magic of CD's is if well cared for, They are timeless. Therefore, mine are well cared for!

In have noticed with time it gets harder and harder to properly catalog these. With all the box sets coming out, Some with remastered originals, some with just bonus stuff, some with DVD's and CD Roms, And other things such as 'do copied CD's count towards a total?' Probably shouldn't, But since I only have about 20 or so copies, I  usually do count them. Also, As cassettes get old and broken, some are discarded and may not have been updated properly. So,  I  just do the best I can. It may not be 100% accurate, but its pretty darned close. I no longer catalogue most Holiday CD's, albums, tapes, or my little-kid stuff I still have from my early years.

Also, at this time, 446 records and CD's have come from B-Sides Music . They are awesome, always take CD requests from me, and call when they come in. The prices are awesome, the selection changes each time I go . They are at 10020 E. Washington St, suite 168 on Indy's East side by Washington Square Mall (next to Lenscrafters). Give them a call! 1-317-898-4148, or visit http://www.bsidesmusic.com . I've also bought a bunch of DVD's from him, including the majority of my South Park seasons.

Anyway, On with the list.

Records!

The following is my collection of Vinyl Records. I began collecting these as a kid, about 6 or 7 years old.  I remember having Greg Kihn's 'Jeopardy' on 45, as well as Styx's 'Mr. Roboto', but they wore out or were broken in time. I also had some beach boys and chubby checker that were somehow lost in time. Not a bad range of music for a 7 year old in 1982! Hard for a kid to keep vinyl a long time. But some managed to survive, such as Dale Wrights 'Dance with me/Can It Be' 45, and a Beatles 45 called  'four by' that somehow made it, and in remarkable condition. I know I had this since about 7 or 8 years old, and the last time I saw one on ebay, it went for nearly $200. Not bad. But all in all, these are in used, worn condition, Other than those bought for their collectible nature.  Kids-type albums ( my earliest ) and Christmas albums not listed.
